April 25, 2023 Kate Meng Brassel has won a 2023-24 Andrew Heiskell Rome Prize from the American Academy at Rome for her project Autopsy of a Satirist: Book and Body in the Satires of Persius. In 2024, Kate will return to the Department as Assistant Professor of Classical Studies.
