Mar 4, 2020 at | Class of 1978 Orrery Pavilion, Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts, Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center, 6th floor

Using LJS 438, a late 15th -century collection of Greek philosophical works into Latin, as a starting point, Dr. Corrias will examine the rich and complex legacy of late ancient Platonism in the preservation, transmission, and transformation of ancient philosophical texts, especially Plato’s dialogues and the works traditionally attributed to Pythagoras and the Pythagoreans.
